although there's absolutely no connection between tsunamis and climate change the damage, done to a low lying island nation like Maldives by a tsunami can be dramatically reduced by minimising the destructive effects on the islands' natural defenses by climate change.. i.e. minimising the effects of climate change caused by our action... at least i believe so...
